Isabelle DORSCH

Ingénieur(e) de recherche
My research background spans open science, informatics, and social media analysis. I am particularly interested in topics such as open access, scientometrics, scholarly communication, research assessment indicators, and metrics literacy.
At GEMASS, I work on the OPENIT project , which seeks to analyze the multifaceted dynamics of the scientific publishing market and unravel the complex interdependencies among its various stakeholders. Within the project, I lead the work on mapping open access policies and initiatives (WP1) and characterizing scientific publishing models (WP2), where my expertise guides the strategic direction and research implementation.
Previously, I contributed to an open science research project at the ZBW – Leibniz Information Center for Economics in Kiel, Germany, and spent several years as a research associate, lecturer, and mentor in the Department of Information Science at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany, where I also earned my PhD in Information Science.
