Gianluca Manzo's Teaching Activities

I valued and liked teaching since I was a PhD student at Trento and Paris-Sorbonne (2002-2006). At that time, I had  the opportunity to serve as instructor ("esercitatore") for an undergraduate class on "Methodology and Techniques of Social Research" offered in 2004 in the department of sociology at the University of Trento.
I experienced the most intense teaching period in 2006-2007 when I was appointed as an assistant professor at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. During this office, I was required to teach a large set of undergraduate classes (briefly described in French here) ranging from classical sociological theory to social stratification and quantitative methods.
After I took my position at the CNRS in october 2007, despite research fellows at the CNRS do not have any teaching obligation, I continued to teach one undergraduate class per year in the department of Sociology at the University of Paris-Sorbonne.
I also had the great opportunity to teach long graduate and post-graduate seminars at several places in Europe and US.

More particularly, my recent teaching mainly falls in the following areas:

**Social Interactions and Social Dynamics**
